Bringing 11 years of media experience, Scott was just nominated as media executive of the year by his peers and the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Texas, Arlington. Scott began his career in media by learning the basics of media buying at a local North Dallas agency. He moved on to the planning side at one of the largest independent agencies prior to making Dieste Harmel & Partners his home for the past eight years. During the past 11 years Scott has worked his way to Media Director having touched many accounts along the way. Some accounts for the general market are Interstate Batteries, Motel 6, Foley’s, Galaxy Aerospace, Baskin Robbins and University of Dallas. Hispanic market accounts are: Pepsi-Cola (Pepsi, Mt. Dew, Sierra Mist, Aquafina), Gatorade, Frito-Lay (Doritos, Lays, Cheetos, Tostitos, Gamesa), Hershey’s (Hershey’s with Almonds, Ice Breakers Ice Cubes), Yum! Pizza Hut, Taco Bell), Quaker Oats (Quaker Instant Oats, Aunt Jemima), H&R Block and Texas Lottery Commission.
