Basic Function(s): Integrated Operation Management / Broadcast Traffic Specialist

Operations Management:

  • Manages internal job tracker for all project campaign workflows
  • Identifies opportunities for improving effectiveness/efficiencies and pro-actively implements workflow and process changes as needed
  • Support CEO and Sr. Group Account Director on scope: monthly/quarterly reporting, hours maintenance
  • Maintains working relationships with all departments within agency & various vendors
  • Supports Brand Leadership with gaining understanding, if any, new operational client tools
  • Collaborates with Brand Leadership on weekly status report & daily hot sheets of all production jobs in progress
  • Facilitate talent estimate requests, ensuring accuracy of estimates for client approval
  • Request ad hoc purchase orders for Brand Leadership, as needed (non-production related)
  • Review and approves financial invoices for Traffic submissions
  • Lead/assist in development of ad-hoc reports as needed

Broadcast & Digital Traffic: Job Responsibilities:

  • Compile and maintain updated media plan information across multiple buys, markets and mediums
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of broadcast traffic instructions, spot rotations and creative assets to appropriate partners (media team, stations, dub house)
  • Manage media station list, trafficking documents and reports (daily, weekly, monthly, ad-hoc)
  • Assign & maintain accurate list of all ad identification numbers, as determined based on buy format
  • Performs final check of traffic logs for correct advertising, rotation & placement
  • Assist Brand Leadership with digital/social trafficking to our media partner(s)
  • Supports Talent Manager to ensure all new creative is estimated correctly per AT&T media buys

  • Understanding of agency project workflow/production and associated cost and timing implications
  • Knowledge of the broadcast traffic process and requirements for National & Local advertising
  • Ability to identify issues quickly and bring actionable solutions; good problem solver
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, including Excel, Powerpoint and Word

Job Specs

  • Minimum 5 + years experience as project manager &/or broadcast traffic specialist at agency or within network/station traffic department
  • Education: undergraduate degree preferred
  • Language proficiency in both English & Spanish preferred
