AdWeek covers an early social media campaign featuring IHOP in a new hip voice. This is a perfect example of how speaking to millennials can be effective if executed correctly. MRM/McCann, IHOP’s digital agency, rolled out a social media campaign that consisted of many tweets using teen speak, based on the fact that their Twitter audience skewed younger. They incorporated common slang, witty movie references and musical puns.
