Migration happens. People are born, then they either stay where they are or they leave. If they leave, they end their journey somewhere. No big shock and it’s hardly interesting (unless you enjoy hyperbolic or demagogic self-serving political ranting). What IS interesting is when someone crunches the data into an interactive format that allows you to quickly see where the born / move / settle trends are occurring. Thanks to the New York Times, someone’s done exactly that.
