Who would have thought, but deep-fried tequila is actually a thing. And, personally, who wouldn’t want to try these mouth-watering summer delights?
It wasn’t until about a decade ago that fried Oreos and s’mores started to make their way into state fair and carnival concessions around the United States. With fried foods appearing on almost every food channel and show, the category has become an organic part of the American cuisine.
But America is not just about burgers and fries. The nation has given birth to Tex-Mex, Cajun and Asian American food. It was only a matter of time for these tasty treats reached our dishes and shot glasses.
The best part about deep-fried tequila is that you don’t need to wait for a state fair to try these fried foods. Thanks to Oh! Bite It!, you can follow a simple recipe and try them for yourself. You don’t even have to be a big cook for these puppies to come out just right.
At this rate, I would not be surprised if the next fried food invention would be deep-fried pho.
