From chips and nuts to even lollipops, many Mexican snack foods share a flavor profile dominated by spice, citrus, and salt. But Mexican snacks aren’t all about heat. Kids also grow up eating chocolate, cakes, and other non-spicy treats. Still, they can seem strange and, well… foreign to American tastebuds. That’s why it’s amusing to watch this video of Americans trying Mexican snacks for the first time. Their reactions are priceless, particularly when they finally “make it over the hump” of different-ness and discover, to their delight, that they’re actually pretty darn good.
