The world of UX? that’s “user experience” for the non-techie, non-design-nerdy among us? has been exploding of late, and usually always in a good way (the problems with Healthcare.GOV notwithstanding). So what are some of the predictions for UX going forward into 2014? A panel of experts chimed in (as they always seem to do) and boldly predicted such things as dedicated degree paths in UX, UX digging its claws into branded content, the continued development of gestures (not the middle finger sort? the sort of swiping and pinching you do on your iPad) and minimizing the problems associated with navigating complex systems. So we guess it’s UX FTW.
