We don’t agree with time outs. We believe in talking and understanding each other. My name is Pachi Tamer, and I’m a single dad with a four-year-old daughter named Elena. Since I came to this country, I’ve noticed that giving time outs to children when they don’t “behave” is a popular practice, and it seems like the right way to teach them and form their personalities. It’s probably the most simple and effortless way for parents to get rid of the situation, I’d say, but it’s certainly not the best way to teach your kids how to communicate their feelings and deal with them. Enjoy! Pachi Tamer, Sr. Copywriter
