Do you want to be an agent of the new era of relevance? Do you have the curiosity, creative spirit, and cultural smarts to connect brands with social tribes? Do you believe in a future of multicultural exchange and fluidity? Then we’d love to meet you!
At Dieste, we come together over our passion for understanding cultural changes by geeking out on data, discovering insights, and spreading knowledge of America’s rising multicultural social tribes. Our mission is to help brands of all sizes create and sustain their relevance in Modern Multicultural America.
Our Advanced Internship Program is designed for maximum output over an 8 to 10-week period, during which you’ll be onboarded as one of us, treated like one of us, and ultimately expected to become one of us. So don’t be surprised that our preferences and requirements are as follows:
- You are in your junior year or rising senior year at a higher education institution and will be graduating in spring of ’25, or ’26.
- You have a clear understanding and dedicated preference for a specific department within a full-service advertising agency.
- You have been a member of a local or higher-ed organization or community in the creative or communications space.
- You can establish your own accommodation arrangements in Dallas, NY, or LA from late May through July.
- You are available to attend our offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
What you get? An opportunity to be an active member of the 2023 Ad Age Multicultural Agency of the Year! And a few other perks:
- Official Dieste credentials and laptop. (Yes, they are Apple)
- Mentorship and work collaboration with award-winning talent.
- Real work and experience designed to make you hirable (by us, we hope!)
- Hourly compensation at $15/hr.
- The consideration of extending your internship or turning it into a full-time gig if you are deemed a high-performing intern and a current project or job opening is in place.
Note: Don’t be discouraged by our preferences and requirements above. We just want to be upfront that our existing program is not designed for an exploratory level of advertising industry exposure. If you are a sophomore or junior, we’d still love to receive your information. That way, we can learn of your interest in us sooner rather than later, provide guidance that will help you mature into an exceptional candidate, and, because you never know, we might offer you an internship after all!
