BRAND LEADERSHIP ‐ ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
The Brand Leadership Internship is an immersive experience within the Brand Leadership department, commonly known as Account Management. You’ll learn about the intricacies of the advertising process: from internal collaboration and aligning agency resources to best practices in not only client management but client leadership. The position is designed to give curious individuals real‐world experience in a creative industry, which demands creative intuition and exceptional leadership and relationship‐building skills. This is a paid internship that requires 40 hours per week.
  • Ideally a junior, senior, graduate student or recent graduate
  • Student of Advertising, Public Relations, Business or similar
  • Strong presentation skills

CREATIVE
Copywriter
The Copywriter Internship is a unique opportunity where people from a variety of backgrounds can excel. Simply put, Copywriters work with words and messages. They think through complex communication problems and cut through the BS to produce solutions that are elegant, memorable, and meaningful. They know how to construct persuasive arguments and keep attention in any medium, from tweets to snail mail, presentations, conversations, and 300 x 50 banners. If you have an active imagination, a way with words, a desire to create, and/or an impressive vocabulary, this position is for you. This is a paid internship that requires 40 hours per week.
  • Ideally a junior, senior, graduate student or recent graduate
  • Should have at least a basic knowledge of current advertising trends
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Needs to understand the basics of writing craft, like brand message, tone and manner and target audience
  • Should be comfortable self-editing, presenting, and proofreading
  • Ability to work as a team with an art director and create decks alone in a pinch
  • Ability to thrive in a high pressure, high speed environment
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus, but not required
Art Director
The role of any great Art Director is to see what others can’t. You must be able to bring ideas to life through good design, photography, and animation. If you have an appreciation for aesthetics and would like to show the world that even a web banner can be beautiful, then Art Director is for you. This position is for those dedicated enough to work tirelessly on their craft and flexible enough to go with the flow. This is a paid internship that requires 40 hours per week.
  • Ideally a junior, senior, graduate student or recent graduate
  • Photography, animation, and design skills are encouraged
  • Must be able to work in a team, or with your copywriter, or alone to execute decks and comps
  • Can thrive in a high pressure, high speed environment
  • Night owl? Good. An Art Director’s schedule is seldom 9‐5
  • Spanish speaking skills are a plus but by no means required
  • Must have strong concepting skills! You don’t want to be the Art Director that builds, but doesn’t create!
PLANNING
The Planning internship is an opportunity to help fuel strategic brand storytelling. You’ll be responsible for feeding the creative process with relevant information and research about people’s attitudes and behaviors in the marketplace. This position is designed for people who are inquisitive about cultures and the people who surround them. This is a paid internship that requires 40 hours per week.
  • Ideally a junior, senior, graduate student or recent graduate
  • Student of Sociology, Market Research, Psychology or similar
  • Proven history of achievement
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Spanish-language skills preferred, but not required
PRODUCTION
The Production Internship is a hands-on position within the Production Department. You’ll be part of a stimulating environment and work on projects across media including digital, print, and broadcast production. Organized, self-starters with a technical background need apply. This is a paid internship that requires 40 hours per week.

  • Student of Advertising, Radio-Television-Film or similar
  • Must have student work samples for review
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro and/or After Effects
MEDIA
The Media Internship is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to the English and Spanish media world, for all media channels (broadcast, print, digital and outdoor). This position will be part of a small but active team that works with multiple departments and accounts at the agency. The internship will give you exposure to media companies, negotiations, strategy development, and the tools to maintain media accounts. You will help manage existing media campaigns and pull research for clients and new business. This is a paid internship that requires 40 hours per week.
  • Ideally a junior, senior, graduate student or recent graduate
  • Business or advertising/communication degree plan is preferred
  • Needs strong analytical skills
  • Able to work with Excel to build reports, charts, analysis and building/tracking budgets and presentation development in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Collaborate on competitive spending and landscape reporting
  • Help develop media strategies to support the needs of our clients and responsible use of their budgets
  • Should have an understanding of digital media tools and analytics reporting for digital campaigns
PUBLIC RELATIONS
The Public Relations Intern will provide general administrative support with PR, as well as assist all other departments. They will help curate PR collateral, including pitches, media backgrounders, bios and more. The Intern will also assist with the organization of photo assets, photo opportunities, along with the general research projects for upcoming campaigns. As a Public Relations Intern, you’ll participate in the early stages of brand acquisition and local community relations. This is a paid internship that requires 40 hours per week.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organized and flexible
  • Familiarity with various media platforms and tools as well as media pitching, building media databases
  • An understanding of the major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram)
